The visual language suitable for Type 6 is based on the use of frames, segments and repetition. Grids for placing elements are created, formed from geometric shapes – mainly squares and rectangles. Text is placed inside the frames and shapes or is itself a frame.
The patterns and repetition of elements help to reduce anxiety by creating a sense of order and predictability. Type 6 reacts strongly to uncertainty, instability and the unexpected, so they are drawn to systematicity. Abstract wave-like forms, dynamics and deviations from an already established system will cause discomfort. Geometric structures, on the contrary, are perceived as reliable and safe. In addition, they correspond to the rational and analytical way of perception of Type 6.
What do you think of the Enneadesigner system? In which type do you recognise yourself? Text me, I’d love to hear your opinion and development proposals!
