Enneadesigner system:
Integration of psychology into graphic design

Welcome aboard! My name is Rogozhina Kseniya, I am a graphic designer and the author of the Enneadesigner system. I graduated from the British Higher School of Design in 2025, and this project was part of my diploma research on how psychology can be integrated into graphic design. The psychological basis of my system is the Enneagram, a typology describing nine stable patterns of perception and behaviour.

The research section presents a visualisation of the Enneagram literature studied — the information has been structured and designed for each personality type.

People perceive visual and textual material quite differently. Some are closer to structure and repetition, others to chaos and spontaneity. Some people respond to restrained presentation, others — to expressive and intense. I conducted an analysis in which I studied the compositions of posters of the 20th–21st centuries and correlated them with the personal structure of each type and their preferences.

I also conducted an experiment in which the character traits of personality types were translated into the visual language of graphic design — through layout, form, colour and typography.

Enneadesigner is a way of speaking to people in their language through design, where the presentation of data is intuitive and responds on an unconscious level.
